Westpac Group (Westpac, St George, Bank of Melbourne & BankSA) are very aware that the success of their Mortgage Broker community plays a large part of their strategic goals - 60% contribution in fact. Knowing they are playing in a competitive market place with limited differentiation, Westpac knew their biggest challenge was staying top of mind when Mortgage Brokers were looking for a financial institution partner.
So, how do did they ensure their broker and client benefits were loud and clear PLUS capture the mindshare of these incredibly time-poor individuals?
A smart video and social strategy.
Westpac Group worked with Frizbee to develop a content strategy tailored to answer the questions their Mortgage Brokers were looking to solve. The goal was to ensure the video content was easily accessible, engaging and that it provided clear education on products and processes to ensure Mortgage Brokers were fully enabled to discuss their financing solutions with confidence.
The brief was to be instructional & educational but with a human feel to them. As a human experience agency, we were all over this.
We worked closely with the Westpac Group team to provide a suite of 20 (yes, you read right!) ‘how-to’ motion graphic videos - everything from scripting to post-production - detailing important policies, systems and ensuing broker and client benefits.
Frizbee delivered 20 motion graphic videos over the course of two months for the banking giant. It’s still early days, but do you want the good news for our client?
Firstly, the videos have been designed to evolve with the Westpac Group’s business so the team can amend the content as needed without requiring a complete content refresh.
Secondly, these videos should feed Westpac Group’s B2B social and content strategy for the best part of 2017 and beyond.
